I fell in love with photography at around the age of 10 or 11. My dad would take our family to the Cincinnati Zoo every year for a special event they held called “Nikon Days.” There I got to use professional cameras, lenses, and equipment at such a young age it was incredible. As an artist, I grew to see photography as a form of art that I could create complete finished works. Something I had struggled with in my various other artistic endeavors. I got to see my dad work in a dark room at Hughes Highschool and I saw how the process worked, before I ever stepped foot into a photography class. I attended Antonelli College in downtown Cincinnati, and was taught by some of the finest photography teachers in the country. Graduating college in ‘09 set in motion my professional photography & photo assistant careers. I worked for my photo mentor Don Ventre for 5+ years, and gained an invaluable amount of knowledge about the photography industry, lighting, how to run a business, and much more. I am proud of what I have accomplished and look forward to many more years of creating fun and interesting photography.
